On January 13, in what seems like a last-minute push, the Biden administration introduced new AI export control measures aimed at blocking both sworn and potential U.S. adversaries from accessing advanced technologies. These regulations were designed to safeguard American innovation and prevent rivals, particularly China, Russia and Iran , from gaining access to cutting-edge AI advancements.

But with Donald Trump returning to the Whitehouse in less than a week, could we see significant changes to this strategy?
