As of today, February 1, 2025, the EU-Chile Interim Trade Agreement (ITA) is officially in action. Signed in December 2023, this deal is a major overhaul of trade relations between the two partners, as the EU seeks for new markets in an ambitious quest to enhance competitiveness while reducing reliance on China.
